TOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

There is so much going on right now that I dont really know where to start! Since my last posting (it has been too long by the way) I have great news! First of all, I have my first CT-member. Her name is Ane, and she makes some wonderful LO's. I just cant wayt to se what she'll make with my designs.

And then I have a lot of news about my designing:

1. I had a gallery stand out at DST with my crazy LO:

2. I'm starting to sell my scrap in another store. It's a commercial use only store, and there are so many great designers there - WOW! What a kick this is. PS! If you send me a message with the right guess of store, I'll give you a squiggles pack of your choise for free!

3. Since december I have been organizing my scraps and craps ;) There are too many ideas and too little time - puh. But I think I have found a sollution to my crazyness. And - good for you! I'm starting a couple of new productlines that I'll release on a monthly basis. It's not grab bags - so they won't dissapear. But you'll have to trust me because the previewmaking of theese big packages are just impossible.

Arvens Theemed Toolbox
My Theemed Toolboxes contain papers, doodles and photo's that I've gathered for future use. Since I never seem to get around using them, I'm really exited to see what you guys come up with. I guarantee, at least 4 bg-things, like overlay patterns and/or textures, and 4 designer tools for elementmaking.

The story behind thisone is my doodleism going wild. You get a huge pile of beautiful doodles that for some reason didn't fit anywhere else - they are homeless doodles ;) They are hand drawn, scanned at 360dpi, cleaned, reduzed to 300 dpi, png'd and wrapped up - at least 20 of them in the set. Do you take the chanse?

Me and my Camera are becoming very good friends, actually so good friends that my computer nearly stands on it's knees. My StockIngs are of the best quality - and I will not give you pictures that are in any way tampered with. All original quality - 3008 x 2000.

4. I in the middle of all of this, I am redesigning myself. I've made a new banner, a tou-picture and packaging for those monthly products. But most important - All of my kits are being reviewed - repacked - and relaunched. I can not tell you exactly when I'll be done with this - but I promise you all a big sale to celebrate.

In august 2006 I made this somehow abstract painting. If you look good, there is an angel in there, watching over you, but only if you want her to.

The painting was named golden opportunities. (translated from the original title in norwegian "Gylden mulighet").

When I painted this, it was as a symbol of an opportunity that was given to me at the time, and I'm starting to think that it's time to pass it on to someone else.

I have someone special in mind, and I hope they will accept!

I finally finished my rosekit

I have been working on this kit for ages, and I finally made myself complete the thing ;) I'm very happy with the way it turned out!

A helping hand to finding the perfect colours

I often start out with a photo when I'm designing LO's or kits. To help myself pick the perfect colours, I've made a little action that comes up with the 5 most frequent colours in the original picture.

Custom designed art

A friend of mine did some time back ask me if I could custom design a painting for her husband to be. She wanted to surprise him on their afterwedding morning with a gift from her heart, an I were off course honured to do so.

Last weekend they got married, and so now I can show you what I made for them. There are lots of hidden signs in this painting. You can clearly see theyr path over the picture and the signs along the way represents their life together from they first started dating and it also includes their dreams for the future.

Thisone containes two pieces from my element-pack Fashion Drawings. The original pack containes 15 drawings, all scan's of my mothers drawings from school. I've always loved them, but not really figured out how to use them until now - they're great as embellishements on a scrap page.

It almost died

The Blog is abselutely not dead - Id rather say it's being reborn. It's been ages since I last wrote to my blog, and the result is that I have a million things I'd like to get down for keeping ;). But I'm not going to write it all down today.

On top of my head right now is my son's birthday. He is turning 4 this monday, and we are having 10 little men over for cake and goodies. I'm as usual somewhat stressed out since the invitations are still missing - I'll have to make them today. Maybe I'll buy some - haha I do so much scrap and design for others that I dont get the time to scrap them...

Well - we are going with soccer this time. There has to be a soccer cake and all the other soccer embellishements. It'l probably turn into a kit when I'm dine with this birthday.

In the scrapworld, I've just added a couple of new kits to the store, and I think I'll post a little sample freebiething for you later today. I could really use a ct soon - but since thats not gonna happen for a while - you can help me a lot by using some of the freebies around the galleries ;)

PhotoLibrary, fun to try!

I've just been accepted as a contributer to the brand new SnapVillage Photolibrary, and I've already made my own portfolio with some pictures I took with my dd on a summerday. Well you can at least se her hand in one of the pictures :).

I havent desided yet on how many of my pictures shall be awailable in the subscribers area, but I guess I will contribute to the society for at least a while to see how this works. But the system is genious - I can post my pictures, price it, tag it and the SnapVillage team approves them before they go live.

It will really be exiting to follow this webpage.
